Jacob Zurcher, DDS

Dr. Jacob Zurcher brings a thoughtful, highly trained approach to comprehensive dental care. He has pursued advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, including training with Dr. David Hornbrook, and has extensive experience with complex full-mouth cases, advanced orthodontics, implant-secured dentures, same-day crowns, and full-mouth permanent, non-removable implant-retained dentures.

Dr. Zurcher also serves as an instructor in minimally invasive implantology and stays current with the latest digital techniques to help patients achieve precise, predictable, and natural-looking results.

Dr. Zurcher grew up in Vacaville, California, before moving to Salt Lake City with his family. With an orthodontist father, he was introduced to dentistry early and developed a lasting interest in helping patients improve both their health and confidence through quality dental care.

After graduating from Skyline High School, Dr. Zurcher attended Brigham Young University and went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.

Outside the office, Dr. Zurcher and his wife stay busy with their three energetic children. He enjoys writing, running, biking, gardening, 3D printing, and taking on creative projects. One of his favorite parts of dentistry is getting to know his patients personally, and he looks forward to helping each patient feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for.

Andrew Theurer, DDS

Dr. Andrew Theurer, pronounced “Tire,” is originally from Salt Lake City and graduated from Highland High School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah before attending the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he trained in modern dental techniques and advanced materials.

Dr. Theurer enjoys continually expanding his skills and bringing new technology into patient care. His interests include 3D printing, CAD/CAM dentistry, and current local anesthetic techniques. He also serves as an instructor at Roseman School of Dentistry.

Outside the office, Dr. Theurer enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and doing just about anything that lets him be with his wife, Jordan, and their five children.

Herald Clark, DDS

With 39 years of experience, Dr. Herald Clark is dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized dental care at Salt Lake Family Dental. He earned his dental degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco and holds both an Associate Fellowship and Fellowship with the World Clinical Laser Institute.

Dr. Clark has a special interest in restorative and laser dentistry and previously served as a presenter for Biolase, teaching laser dentistry throughout the Western United States. Since 2008, he has built lasting relationships with patients, many of whom have trusted him with their care for years.

Outside the office, Dr. Clark enjoys road cycling, skiing, music, fine art, and antique lamps. He also studied Renaissance music, music history, and performance at the University of Utah. As a proud father of four, he values family time and the relationships that make both life and dentistry meaningful.
